The most obvious advantages of nuclear energy? How about no carbon footprint?
Or are there hidden costs? Water usage is the primary victim, it is a water pollution issue.
The water comes in, cools down the reactor, and then hot water gets poored back into the ecosystem. These ecosystems can not handle extreme temperature changes.
It would make sense that water recycling through a radioactive facility would have some contact with radiation.
